Europlus has launched the new version of NiceLabel. The new NiceLabel 2017 has many changes in its licensing to make even more convenient for the users. Now there is a possibility to get a license with for an unlimited number of users – only a number of used printers is limited. Also the new NiceLabel 2017 user interface mimics that familiar feel of Microsoft Office ribbons, so creating and printing your labels is even easier.

We have successfully implemented warehouse optimization and automation using barcode technology in raw material warehouse at JSC DS Smith Packaging Lithuania. Process optimization for the raw material warehouse is the next step in company‘s warehounsing process automation (after the upgrade for company‘s current handheld software, used in the production warehouse).

We have successfully updated DS Smith Packaging Lithuania software for handheld computers to work on newer handhelds with a more up-to-date operating system (transfer from Windows CE 4 to Windows CE 6). Some additional functions were also added in this upgrade.

The seminar "Warehouse management: optimizing and automating processes" we held yesterday was a success. It was nice to see such interest in this topic. We hope to see you again in our next seminar.

DC-W warehouse management software for handheld computers has been successfully implemented and integratated with SIA DOJUS Latvia ERP system. This new software will help comapny's employees in warehouses throughout Latvia. DC-W software will help warehouses be more efficient and accurate.

The new EU Regulation 1169/2011 states, that from December 13, 2014, food designation requirements regarding food contents will change. Regulation purpose is to ensure that costumer receives full information about food product’s contents, sustenance, allergens. It should be noted, that not only usual food stores will be affected by this regulation, but also internet shops, restaurants, bars. Furthermore, food suppliers will have to ensure, that allergens are distinguished from other products in foods contents list.

Warehouse operation automatization project in UAB Dojus Agro has been successfully completed. Solution includes DC-W software, which was adapted to meet the client requirements. You can find out more about our DC-W software here.

A seminar – conference on the topic “Aspects of Warehouse Management: Process Optimization and Automation” will be held in Šarūnas hotel in Vilnius (Lithuania). Lectors from various countries will participate in this event. JSC DS Projektai director, Gintaras Naudžiūnas, will also read a lecture about effective product labeling and identification. A seminar was held on "Verslo įmonių valdymo kaštų mažinimas, panaudojant išmaniuosius e-kortelės sprendimus" in hotel Šarūnas in Vilnius. Specialist from DS Projektai introduced UHF RFID possibilities for reducing company's operating costs. We would like to thank all who participated.

UAB DS Projektai just moved to a new location. Now we are located at Lukiškių st. 5 - 115, Vilnius.

A new warehouse has started waking today in UAB Transimeksa. This is a 12 500 m² and it is using the Accellos One Warehouse WMS system. We are celebrating with the whole UAB Transimeksa staff the opening of the new warehouse.

A seminar was held yesterday on the topic: Requirements for Modern Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Management Methods. The main goal of the seminar was to introduce new warehouse management possibilities and most frequent problems in warehouse management; to learn how one can audit a warehouse and how to evaluate acquired information; to look at some warehouse management system implementation examples. There were two guest speaker in the seminar: Dmitry Perov - independent expert-consultant in logistics; and Alex Pavul - Director European Operations at Accellos.

International exhibition on innovations and high technologies Balttechnika 2011 ended yesterday. We would like to thank all who participated and visited the exhibition and we hope that we can further our relationship in the future.

On 17 - 19 of May UAB DS Projektai will be participating in an international exhibition Balttechnika. The exhibition will be held in Lithuanian Exhibition Centre "Litexpo" (Laisvės Ave. 5, 04215 Vilnius, Lithuania).

During this exhibition our company will demonstrate the software solutions we are offering: software for a small warehouse DC-W basic and DC-W mini; software for assets tracking MIVS. Also we will be demonstrating warehouse management system Accellos One Warehouse, which was created by our partners in USA - Accellos Inc.

Last week (24 - 28 of January) Accellos Inc. held a training sesion in Warsaw (Poland). During this week of training different modules of Accellos One Warehouse were discussed and particapants became certified experts of Accellos One Warehouse.

For the first time in Lithuania installation processes of warehouse management system Accellos One Warehouse have been finished. Now we are taking this project to the next step: go-live.

At the beggining of this week (18-20 October) a conference has been held by Accellos Inc. for Accellos parteners. During this conference benefits and news about Accellos One Suite were discussed. Also it was a good oportunity for Accellos partners to share their experiance with Accellos software installations. We would like to share a few moments from this conference with You in the Gallery.

UAB DS Projektai is now a partner of a danish firm Freefloat. Freefloat has developed hardware independent software for more than a decade and are experts in network communication and data collection solutions.

RFID based assets counting software, developed by DS Projektai has been successfully integrated with Oracle data base. This incorporation widens the possibilities of integrating our inventory system with various business management systems.

The first implementation of Accellos One warehouse management system in Lithuania has been started. System is being installed into a 4000 square meter warehouse of a logistics firm. There are plans to extend this system to a new 11000 square meter warehouse.

The seminar How to Effectively Run Your Warehouse was very popular and successful. Seminar was held by DS Projektai and Accellos lectors.

UAB DS Projektai has signed a partnership agreement with Accellos, Inc, and now is exceptional distributor in Lithuania.

An RFID based assets counting system inplementation has began. Nordic PL3000 UHF and passive UHF tags (according to EPC GEN2 standarts) are used in the system.

DC-W basic software has been renewed. In the new version additional functions are available:

weight barcode scanning;

tracking product amount in packages;

additional data transfer possibilities.

UAB DS Projektai has signed a partnership treaty with Euro Plus d.o.o. Slovenian company Euro Plus d.o.o. is the developer of the well known tag printing software NiceLabel. By signing this treaty UAB DS projektai has become the official distributor of the NiceLabel in the region.

Manufacturing data collection project for AB Klaipėdos mediena has been finished. After the first step, when the data collection system integration with manufacturing management system Preactor has been installed, the second step - integration with ERP SCALA - is now also finished.

UAB DS Projektai's specialists have finished the first stage of task automation for UAB Elektroskandia. When the integration with the bussines management system SCALA will be finished,the head of the warehouse will be able to assign tasks, given by SCALA, to particular workers, transfer needed information to data collection terminals, process information sent by them, transfer results to SCALA, receive various reports. This system has a feature of dividing a work assignment for several workers or combining several orders for one worker. Furthermore, access to warehouse worker activity reports and possibility to inventory goods will be available.

UAB "DS Projektai" has successfully taken part in the 16th major specialised industrial exhibition in the Batltics, Balttechnika.
Software, designed for manufacturing data collection and integration with a manufacturing management system, was demonstrated to visitors of this exhibition. Also, possibilities of warehouse data collection and connection with its management system and warehouse data collection via DC-W basic mini system were presented.

The first step in automated production data collection project for AB Klaipedos Mediena is completed. Software for continuous data collection and synchronization with production management system Preactor has been implemented. Now specialists of furniture crafting are using data, which becomes available just after the product is manufactured, to organize and control the production processes.
In the work center workers always have information about their work assignments and amounts of production which has already been manufactured. A special feature - inventory of manufactured production.
